How to Uninstall GlobalProtect - Windows
Follow these steps to uninstall GlobalProtect from a Windows machine.
Before you start:
- Only uninstall GlobalProtect if you own the device or have permission to do so. Your employer may require you to be connected to the VPN while conducting any company business.
- If GlobalProtect is blocking a site, there is no need to uninstall the software. Simply send the URL to support@ostra.net and request safelisting on the VPN.
-
If you are experiencing slowness, there is no need to uninstall the software. Check your internet connection as most slowness while on the VPN is typically due to an unstable connection. If your connection is strong and stable, reach out to support@ostra.net for troubleshooting.
-
Check the VPN user guide for how/when to disable the VPN and more information.
